Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar Halloween Cocktails

Oct 2, 2018

In the spirit of all things villainous, Disney Springs has introduced some new seasonal drinks this year for Halloween. Since Jay and I found ourselves with some time to kill before our STK reservation, we headed over to try out the Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar Halloween cocktails.

My least favorite thing about Disney bars is that you have to seat yourself and then hope a server notices you. We actually couldn’t find the seasonal drinks listed, because we hadn’t realized they were on the inside of the front cover. The server quickly pointed them out once we got her attention.

There are a total of three drinks, two that are alcoholic and one that is not.

The first drink is called The Forbidden Apple. It is Captain Morgan Rum, Sour Apple Pucker, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey, Cranberry Juice, Lime Juice and Grenadine, served with a Poison Apple Glow Cube. It is $14.50 before tax.

The second drink is called The Autumn Smash. It is Captain Morgan Rum, Lemon Juice, Pear Nectar, Simple Syrup and a touch of Cinnamon served with a Poison Apple Glow Cube. It is $13.25 before tax.

The non-alcoholic drink is called the Poison-less Apple. It is Sprite with Caramel and Granny Smith Apple served with a Poison Apple Glow Cube. It is $9.49 before tax.

We ordered The Forbidden Apple and The Autumn Smash so we could try them both. Honestly the Poison-less Apple sounds like it would be amazing with alcohol added, but that wasn’t an option.

I’m not a huge rum fan, but The Forbidden Apple was really good. I decided Jay could have The Autumn Smash after taking a sip. He was a good sport and finished it, but he agreed The Forbidden Apple was better.

The drinks are good, but the best part is definitely the Poison Apple Glow Cube!

Cost: It was $30 something after tax and tip.

Value: Drinking is never cheap at Disney, but I feel like this wasn’t too bad, since we got something to keep without paying the full price of a souvenir cup.

Duration: We were there about half an hour, but we also had a reservation to get to.

Add Ons: They have a special pretzel you can order as part of their fall menu.
