Disney Date Idea #5 Festival of Fantasy

Jun 8, 2017

Disney’s famous afternoon parade never disappoints, plus the music is just so happy. Stake out your perfect viewing location about an hour before. Most people like to be in front of the castle, but my favorite spot is either next to or across from the Country Bear Jamboree. It’s a nice long straight away, and you usually can see the dragon breathe fire at least once if not twice. See who can spot the little details on the floats first to show the other, like where the bear cubs are hiding on the Brave float, or Ray with Tiana and Naveen.

Cost: Park admission to Magic Kingdom.

Duration: About an hour and forty minutes with waiting for your spot.

Best Food Option: Stick to something munchy like popcorn or churros, since you’re likely to be in direct sunlight.

Moving to Orlando in 2013 to join the Disney College Program was the start of the Great Florida Adventure for Chelsea and her best friend Duffy Bear. Now they spend their days exploring all there is to do in the Orlando area and seeing what adventures life where the rest of the world vacations brings.
