Almost every vendor out there has some sort of “club” you can join for special offers and free stuff. Yes, the emails can get annoying, but they’re worth having in your inbox that one month of the year. Sign up for enough of them, and you can almost go your entire birthday month without paying for a thing! By no means is this an exhaustive list, but I’ve put together the ones I could find that specifically pertain to Orlando. It doesn’t do you a whole lot of good if you’re not in the same place as the free offer!
- Baskin Robins: Free Ice Cream
- Benihana: $30 Off Voucher
- Buca di Pepo: Free Dessert
- Cold Stone Creamery: Free Ice Cream
- Culvers: Free Sundae
- Dunk Donuts: Free Coffee
- Earl of Sandwich: Free Sandwich
- Kobe: $30 Off Voucher
- Margaritaville: Free Gift
- Melting Pot: Free Voucher
- Miller’s Ale House: Free Dessert
- Moe’s: Free Entree
- Nothing Bundt Cakes: Free Mini Cake
- Panera: Free Pastry
- Red Robin: Free Burger
- Sephora: Free Item the Month of Your Birthday
- Starbucks: Free Drink (Requires a Starbucks Gift Card)
- Sweet Tomatoes: Free Meal
- Universal Orlando Resort: Free Birthday Button at Guest Services
- Walt Disney World Resort: Free Birthday Button at any Merchandise Location
The free buttons at the parks are no guarantee of anything. Speaking as a former Cast Member, saying you get to use Fastpass for everything because it’s your birthday is not cute, original, or funny. However, I’ve somehow wound up with a free pretzel on at least four of my birthdays since I moved to Orlando so you never know.
As I said, this is by no means an exhaustive list. Most places have an e-club of some sort that you usually get a special offer for joining, and something free for your birthday. I wanted to focus on things specific to Orlando that you may not normally be signed up for if you’re visiting around the time of your birthday. It’s normally a good idea to be signed up around a month ahead of time so everything comes in on time.
